HWCC's Wildlife Patient of the Month: July July 10, 2010. This young river otter was found with no family around. We tried to reunite the otter with his family but they could not be found, only their abandoned den. He will be transported to another rehab facility where there are adult otters to teach this one how to hunt for food. Once old enough he will be released back to the wild.
